CHEM is the trade association of manufacturers and suppliers of equipment to the waste industry
Our aims are:
- To ensure that members' products continue to meet key performance criteria and health and safety standards.
- To establish guidelines for container design to ensure correct interfacing with members' products.
- To promote the interests of members in the drafting of European harmonised standards and UK regulations.
- To establish and maintain contacts with other organisations connected to the waste industry and relevant government departments.
- To provide a forum for members to discuss matters of mutual interest and importance.
